After completing a degree in Media Production, David obtained a pair of NVQ qualifications in Camera Assistance and Editing. This ‘on-the-job’ training involved producing regular local news and magazine programmes for a cable TV channel.  After a brief stint as a freelancer following this, David went on to work for Blueprint Film for over 13 years before going freelance again in 2019.

Throughout this time, David has worked on a wide variety of projects, from running filmmaking workshops, to shooting corporate videos, to editing feature films.  He has also handled the technical elements of countless projects for Shooting Fish over the years.
